A Ponzi Scheme?

With Rick Perry doubling down on his statement that Social Security is a Ponzi scheme, Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson defends and Alex Tabarrok finds strange political bedfellows who agree (at least when they don’t need publicly to defend Perry).  Angus notes that it’s actually worse than a regular Ponzi scheme, in that at least you can keep from paying into a regular Ponzi scheme.
