I’ve started reading The National Football Post as we get closer and closer to the NFL Draft. It’s not very flashy, but it’s charming in its own way, and has some insight into the process as a whole. Here’s the latest example.
The methodology isn’t the best — “five year starter = success” is easy to track and easy to count, but not necessarily indicative of true talent. However, it does provide us with a reasonable starting point. I’d also be interested to see specific players. It looks like the biggest “successes” for the Major Powers are at the line and DBs. QB, in particular, is a crapshoot, on the other hand.
