Basic premise: White collar criminal arrested, works for FBI.
Why it’s here: USA has had tremendous success with these sorts of franchises, and White Collar is no exception. It’s refreshing to see a TV show look at crimes that aren’t always about murder. The cast works really, amazingly well together.
Why it’s not higher: The show is brilliant, but they have to keep making “excuses” for why Neal is still in police custody. I just don’t know how long it can last. I intend on enjoying the ride while it lasts, of course. The first season or two focused way too much on Kate, where finding her is his obsession; the later seasons, with the plot of figuring out who his father really was, work much better.
