Real Lie Of The Year: PolitiFact’s Relevance

This year, the PolitiFact lie of the year is “If you like your plan, you can keep your plan.”

This is, of course, after they called Mitt Romney a liar on the issue, that “If you’ve got a health care plan that you like, you can keep it” is true, and also that it’s half-true.

Strangely, there’s no apology to Mitt Romney, mea culpa from PolitiFact, and certainly no “Here’s how we’ll keep from screwing this up again” speech.

Remember:  if you like your fact-checkers, you can keep your fact-checkers, period.

  1. Opinionated Vogon says:

Lie of the year? No, lie of the century! I made this parody video to illustrate all the lies told to sell Obamacare, and its funnier than the clownshow over at Politifarce too!

    Hitler’s health insurance is cancelled
