Kevin wrote about the end of Google Reader earlier on this blog. I can confirm that I have chosen Feedly, which is very slick and minimalist. I don’t use multiple browsers like him — pretty much 100% Chrome — so it’s perfect.

  1. I ended up buying a copy of NewsBlur, which has worked out pretty well for me so far. One thing I miss about Google Reader was being able to jump around in articles with my keyboard, whereas NewsBlur doesn’t like that so much (up and down switch between articles rather than scrolling up and down in an article). Otherwise, after the initial bombardment a few months back, it’s definitely become a lot more stable and faster.
