Individualism And The Modern Order

HBD Chick points out research which indicates that nations with higher levels of individualism tend to have stronger cross-societal bonds. This leads me to think of a Nockian paradox:  individualism feeding a State which destroys society and thereby individualism itself. There's your dour thought of the day.
