Some More Security Notes

• Some phrases that the feds look for when trying to find corporate malfeasance.  Check out the comment by beakernx01 for a new game:  hit the most triggers in one completely innocent e-mail.
• It’s been weeks since I’ve last complained about how broken the SSL model is, so here’s another opportunity.
• Apple is trying to prevent stupid people from falling for a rather stupid trick.  Reading is fundamental, kids.
• Here’s the interesting question of liability:  if you go and publish a map of gun owners, are you morally more responsible for the burglaries that occur at those gun owners’ homes, or the burglaries that occur at the non-gun owners’ homes?  And would these editors be just as fine with people publishing a listing of all home addresses for people at these newspapers?  It’s public information, after all.
