Sundry Curmudgeonly Notes

• Failure begets failures within the State.  When people are spending other peoples’ money, you have to expect this kind of waste.  And don’t forget that the State hates efficiency; it makes the slackers look bad.
• Water is not a pollutant. 
• Jay Nordlinger notes that certian people on the left are becoming honest.  He considers that refreshing.  I’m not quite as sure:  they had to lie because their actual goals were so abhorrent that nobody would ever vote Democrats into office otherwise.  Today, however, that seems to be much less of a problem, so the mask slips.
