Hopefully this gets thrown out quickly enough that the lawyers don’t get paid megabucks.

Blizzard does not force you to buy a token.  Blizzard allows you to do stupid things with your password and allows you not to use two-factor authentication.

The only thing that would be legit in the suit is that Blizzard was hacked.  I don’t necessarily mind court proceedings in that case as a way of protecting customers from organizations which are negligent in their duties.

    1. Pretty much. I’m sympathetic to a class-action suit against a company which is utterly negligent in security (Sony, for example), but it does’t seem that Blizzard was. And the rest of it sounded like twaddle that should get thrown out immediately.
