Huge Data Breach In South Carolina

The South Carolina Department of Revenue is warning that upwards of 3.6 million Social Security Numbers may have been stolen.

When organizations say that governments should regulate security, this is the type of thing I’d like to throw back at them.  This is a large state agency, just as vulnerable as your average non-Sony company.  Perhaps the government regulation types should work on getting those regulations working for the government first…
