- Government != Taxpayer. Government ownership != taxpayer ownership.
- Just because you show up to class and do homework doesn’t mean you should get a good grade. People nowadays seem to be indelible whiners. Back in my grad school days, there was a lot of complaining about actually having to do general equilibrium models and how the math (relatively simple calculus) was so complex. These people wanted nothing more than to memorize a few pages from a book and get a good grade, and I say hard cheese to them. Suck it up, princess.
- What ever happened to Obama’s presidency being about transparency?
- Obama’s just appointed yet another unethical cabinet candidate. Michelle Malkin has more.
- Meanwhile, expect to repeat mistakes of the past, as our current President hasn’t seemed to learn much from the last 40 years.
- Speaking of “what ever happened,” wasn’t this supposed to be the most ethical Congress ever?
- Speaking of corruption and petty politicians, what, exactly, is the benefit of limiting people like Erroll Tyler from opening up businesses? Oh, yeah, that’s right: because the established firms funnel cash into political campaigns.
- David Brooks leaves me shaking my head with his criticism of Rick Santelli. I probably couldn’t top Jerry Taylor’s response, so I’ll leave it at that.

As a former (and hopefully soon to be future) GTA, I wrote out my share of Fs. You can’t write a history paper without a thesis. Wikipedia is not a scholarly source. If you don’t cite your sources, you’re plagiarizing. These are all things that got Fs.
The professor of the class often told me to fail more people, as it builds character.

Failure does build character. Either that or failing people. Did you seem like a better person after failing all of those people?
