A while back, I was watching old MST3K skits when I happened upon Last Clear Chance. This was an old driver’s ed video created by Union Pacific Railroad, and is wonderful. The best part happens near the end of the movie, when a conductor who looks and sounds remarkably like an early Charles Bronson asks, “Why don’t they look, Ralph. Tell me, why don’t they look?”
Sadly, I do not believe that it actually was Charles Bronson, but the IMDB doesn’t have a name for the engineer and I couldn’t find it on the Internets, so until proven otherwise, I am going to believe that it really was him.
