Tony is the one who ought to bring this up, given that he is the hockey fan of the group, but yesterday was the 28th anniversary of the Miracle on Ice. Beating the Soviets at anything was nice; beating them at their own sport was sublime…

“Miracle” is quite possibly the best sports movie I’ve ever seen. They got actual athletes to play the hockey players and not actors; it shines because of it. Since the lockout, I’ve found it hard to get back into hockey, but every time I watch it, it gives me goosebumps.
