For my images, I had been manually resizing photos to get them small enough to post. And this was way too time-consuming. So fortunately, I found out that ImageMagick actually does this all in Linux without a problem.
This page has a few ways of handling the problem, and now that I have that done, I will be able to put up my posts more easily. Yay for productivity-enhancers!
